Do you hear that sound? You know- the hum of pencils being sharpened and backpacks being packed. It’s back to school season! I know, I know- kids, sorry, summer was great- but it’s time to get some learning on. Parents- you know we all secretly LOVE back to school shopping. I don’t know why, but I love taking Sofia shopping for school supplies. Especially when I head to Office Depot for supplies. Sometimes I get carried away and start to search for things for myself!

Sofia is starting 5th grade, and to her, that means her school style is a little more grown up. After all, she’s in her final year of elementary school (where did the time go??). She decided it was time to move away from cartoon characters on her notebook, and was ready for something more ‘her’. When we were browsing Office Depot, she was immediately drawn to the Happy Thoughts collection.

The colors are soft but bright, the messages are fun and yet, say- “I am ready to learn!”

Plus, while she shopped for her supplies, I got to pick up a few things that I was able to donate to her class. Like- 3 reams of paper, which using Office Depot rewards and after a rebate, came to $1!! That’s an inexpensive and great way to help my daughter’s classroom get the year started.

I also picked up a Bluetooth speaker to set up on her desk. She likes to study and do her homework to music, so we just sync up her phone, and she gets going.

Back to school can be pretty stressful for kids and parents- you have to make sure you have everything to get your kid ready for the year. Luckily, Office Depot has everything you need and more. Plus- you may be able to sneak in some supply shopping for yourself, like I did (you know you want to!) and check out the great deals they have on other items like laptops and printers, which will definitely be needed throughout the school year.
