Our last stop in Orlando while on a press trip to attend the Zootopia press junket at Walt Disney World, courtesy of Disney Studios, was Disney’s Magic Kingdom. As a native to Southern California, I gotta say this park was the most similar to Disneyland but it had it’s own magic too. Being there, it all seemed like a dream, and ending it at the home of Cinderella’s castle seemed appropriate…and we definitely had pixie dust on our side because the Florida weather waited until near the end of this day to rain. It was like Florida was shedding a tear that we were leaving (I was too!). I kinda took it easy, just wanting to absorb and take in everything I possibly could.

I couldn’t believe the similarities between Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. They felt like they were more like fraternal twins, the same at it’s core but with different features to make them unique. The train station was there, but it only made two stops. We decided to take a few pics of the castle, and then jump on the train to get a head start on walking the park.

First stop? Dumbo.

Not much different than Disneyland, however, it had more of a carnival theme surrounding the ride. A short walk away was the park’s newest attraction, the Snow White Mine Ride, which was pretty cool.

I loved everything from the story, to the music and the ride is perfect for littles looking to experience their first roller coaster. I am not so little, but hey, I loved every second of it.

Oh, also at Magic Kingdom, is Be Our Guest, the Beauty and the Beast themed restaurant. I kinda died when I saw the inside.

Oh, by the way….the grey stuff? It’s DELICIOUS!

There are many sights, rides and eats to have at the Magic Kingdom. I walked around to check out what the park had to offer, and it started raining but, it’s Florida, so that didn’t even make anyone blink.

Sadly, I only had a few hours but just being able to be there was an experience I will not forgot.
